Good news (we hope) SMTS have finally purchased a digital printer so they can print their own decals (and ours) so we should be able to turn round kits a bit quicker as they will be printing daily. The decals from Hong Kong are fine but a 10 week turn round is putting us further and further behind. So as long as Adrian can get them drafted we should be able to get the kits back on track soon.

Good news is the Lola T70 SL73/112 is ready (yippee) this kit will build one of 11 version raced by Paul Hawkins/Frank Gardner during 1967/68. Below are the three colour changes, left to right, left – South Africa 1968 – middle South Africa 1967 – right Surfers Paradise 12hr 1967. Kit price $100

We have the first batch of Ferrari 246T kits from SMTS will build the 1969 Chris Amon/Derek Bell cars. Although there are decal for D Bell you will have to paint a gold panel around the cockpit as there is no decal for this. I think the easiest way to do this is with a Tamiya Gold paint marker as masking will be very tight. Experienced kit builders will be able to modify this kit to build the 1968 version that raced at Sandown Park (Aus GP) or at Longford in Tasmania, other races can’t be built as it had a different engine/engine cover at the earlier races. There is a selection of decals to build various F2 versions of these cars too.
