Marsh Models release their Ferrari 330P4 spider from the BOAC500 Brands Hatch 1967 this kit will make three versions which include the cars driven by Chris Amon and Paul Hawkins. Marsh are also planning to make other P4’s from Le Mans, Daytona & Targa Florio also the 330P4 from Can-Am and not only have we persuaded them to make the 350P4 that Amon/Brown raced in Australia but also the Paul Hawkins version from South Africa too. Talking of Paul Hawkins we are looking to make the Porsche 910/8 that he won the 1967 Targa Florio in.

Now can we get anyone to make the Elfin MR8A or the Matich SR3 Can Am cars, would anyone be interested if we did? Let us know and we will see what can be done.

As reported a couple of months ago Fujimi the Japanese plastic kit manufacturer has turned to ready made “die casts” with some Porsche 935’s including the Apple Computers car that was driven by Allan Moffat at Le Mans 1980 and it’s pretty good at just $75.

SMTS have re-release some more ex SRC kits including the Chris Amon Ferrari 312 from Monaco 1967 and also some re-vamped versions of their older F1 kits this includes the Amon March 701 and while on the subject of Chris Amon, Spark release the Matra F1 MS102B 1971 #20 France and #12 Italy.

We have canceled plans to make 1966 Bathurst Mini’s for awhile as Biante have just made it. Is their colour right I know there are not many colour images from the 1966 race but the ones I have show a darker green as the winning car.
