we will be bringing you a model of the car in kit or built
form……….get your orders in now!
On
our return for Europe we have had to make a decision on
the ‘coming soon’ and ‘new release’
sections of this news letter, they're just getting too
big.
As
from this month we will only list items that are relevant
to our market, and that’s Australia and New Zealand.
With a general resurgence in 1/43 scale model cars there
are many obscure subjects being made that will have no
interest to Aussies or Kiwis. We will be listing road
cars, major race and rally cars, F1’s, concept/styling
cars and of course any model that was driven or built
by an Aussie or a Kiwi. Also cars that raced/rallied in
Australia or New Zealand, but we will not be listing cars
that raced in the back of Beyondstan GP driven by drivers
no one Downunder has ever heard of. If by any chance you
do collect models of cars race or rallied in Outer Mongolia
then please let us know and we will do our best to keep
you informed.
This
month's news from Yank Models is they will be making the
Lola T332 F5000 car of Vern Schuppan from Elkhart Lake
1976 This kit or built model can be pre-ordered now, kit
approx. AU$95 built approx. AU$295 We are working with
these guys to make the Lola T332 of Theodore Racing driven
by Alan Jones in the 1977 Rothman series in Australia.
Alezan
have an Alfa Romeo Sprint Giocattolo V8 Holden in their
future production listing. This is an Aussie Supercar
built in mid 1980s using a modified Alfa Sprint see Tim's
Alfa Romeo Page for details. The 1/43 scale model
is built only in red, price around AU$185
We
have discovered a problem with the decals/photo-etching
for the Sierra Cosworth so I am afraid the B&H car
is going to be delayed further while we sort it out.
The
decals are being drafted for the BMW635CSi Bob Jane T
Marts cars from Bathurst 1985/86. This kit will also build
the current car that runs in historics. As with all our
kits, price is $85 each $150 for a pair or $210 for three.
This should be available in around two months.
