This Months News

Well it looks like BBR’s draftsperson is back at work as this month there is a whole load of new kits, something we have not seen from BBR for a year, due to said draftsperson taking time off to have a baby. All are previously been released as factory built models. They have also announced they will be making all the 2007 Le Mans Ferrari’s in the Gasoline range, limited to 200 of each.

We are now in the depths of winter in the southern hemisphere and for the first time since living in Australia we are experiencing a real winter, overnight frosts and rain almost every day, yippy! Coming from the UK this is something I never thought I would say, but it’s great to have rain.

Automodelli Studio can now offer a custom photo etching service, one off or short run items in brass, copper or nickel silver. Contact us for further information. This will enhance our custom building service and the accessories range. Also we have secured a supply of 1/43 scale machined centre lock nuts for race wheels and these will be available in our accessory range too.

Now something we don’t normally talk about here is die-cast models but, as you may not get to see these at your normal die-cast supplier, Premium Classixxs from Germany have a nice Mercedes race car transporter as use by Porsche in the 1970’s. There are three versions available, white with Martin Porsche sponsorship logos, silver with the Martini Porsche logos and red with silver Porsche signage. The rear doors open and the ramps are moveable, so you can set it up as a diorama with you favourite 917 or RSR. Price for this hand assembled die-cast around $180
