Latest News from automodelli studio The
1st September 2005 is Automodelli studio's 1st birthday, although the website
was not up and running until a little later. The first year has been very much
a learning curve and we have had a few hiccups along the way but we have survived
and are heading in the right direction now. Whilst
we will continue to supply kits and factory built models from other manufacturers
we will pursue our own range of kits and built models in the 'Classic
Road Car' and 'Historic Racing Car' ranges, the
first of which, a Chevron BB, is in the process of having the moulds made and
the decals printed now, and should be ready fo release around the end of October.
The
second of our releases in association with Marsh Models will follow shortly afterwards
and will in fact be a series of 5 models of the famous AC/Shelby Cobras, the 260
Mk, 289 Mk2, 289 Mk3, 427 & 427SC These are still in the prototype stage at
the moment but we hope to have samples in the near future. August
has been a very quiet month in the model business mainly due to the holiday season
in Europe where most of the manufactureres reside but I'm sure they will make
up for it in September. This
month sees a new supplier on board from Germany, one of the oldest that is still
in the business. Tin Wizard have been around since the early '80s, and now have
a large range covering many subjects not only in 1/43 scale. In their range you
will find not only German vehicles but also those from Scandinavia and some from
the UK, USA, Spain, France and Italy. Automodelli studio is the sole importer
of Tin Wizard products in Australia, take a look at their website Tin
Wizard. there are some very unusual models. If
there is a particular vehicle you are looking for and can not find, please contact
us and if we can not find it then maybe we can have it made to be included in
one of our ranges.
