New supplier this month from Argentina, GP-1 supplying Grand Prix cars as white metal kits. All have engine detail and appear to be good quality. There are no factory built models available but we can build them for you if required. We will take orders for these kits as a minimum number is required. Price around AU$65 per kit.

Some sad news this month. John Day one of the founders of the 1/43 scale specialist white metal business back in the early 1970’s passed away last month. He was 78 years old. Also this month reports from our colleagues in France suggest that PMA have closed their doors again.

On a slightly better note, we have acquired masters to enable us to make a couple more Aussie cars. The Holden Torana L34 SLR5000 and the A9X Hatchback. The A9X should be ready around November time in various Marlboro liveries from both Bathurst and the ATCC 1978/79.

At last SMTS have released their 1968 Lotus 49 Tasman car in both J. Clark (winner) and G. Hill liveries.

You probably don’t want to hear this, but Christmas is not far away and if any of you are thinking of ordering models then do it now. This is the busiest time of the year for the manufactures and for us, if kits are not ordered by the end of this month we are unlikely to get them built for you by December.
