Some good news this month Heco Models (France) have purchased the PMA masters/molds and hopefully will be re-releasing the range soon. The incestuous nature of this business continues, many years ago when Record Models split into Starter and Provence Moulage (previous incarnation of PMA) Starter nicked most of the decent masters and molds which left PM with little to produce so they bought up old Heco masters. Just proves what goes around come around I guess.

Just to mention Superior Models have re-issued their Ferrari 250GTO kit an absolute stunning kit in 1/43 scale and at only $1150.00 I’m sure you will all want one.

Now at the other end of the market Pinko Models from Italy offer very nice built models at $75/80 if you are interested in these contact us for a list of previously re-leased models and from now on we will list all new releases.

We have discovered a kit by Cevan Kit Cars a little known French manufacturer, of the Ford J car as driven by B McLaren and C Amon at the Le Mans test day 1966. Chris Amon produced the fastest lap by almost 2 full seconds. Unfortunately later in the year Ken Miles was killed while testing the car at Riverside and Ford dropped the project in favor of the Ford Mk4 which went on to win Le Mans in 1967.
