For the first time in many years 1/43 scale will have a table at the show. 1/43 scale has become the forgotten scale for builders in Australia. Please let me or Paul D’Orival know if you want to participate. You can exhibit any or every day and you can stay and help on the stand or you can leave your exhibits with us. Either Paul or I, or both of us will be there each day.

We are going big scale

When I started Automodelli Studio it was a building service only, but it soon became apparent there was a need to supply 1/43 scale kits because of the demise of other model shops, business has gone from strength to strength and now we supply all 1/43 scale items I think we are the only supplier that does this in Australia now!

In the last year or two we have been asked for other scales and I have resisted, but now I have decide to fill the gap left by GPMA Nakajima & Cavalier Models. So from now on we offer 1/24 1/20 & 1/18 kits to order and we will be offering our own conversion parts starting with the Tamiya Sierra RS500 Conversion kit will consist of RHD dash, Sebring type door mirrors, photo etched seat belts. This will enable the Tamiya Trampio kit to be converted as well as the Eggenburger version.

New from K&R Replicas MG PA Le Mans 1935 this was George Eyston’s Dancing Daughters team that finished 24th 25th& 26th kit includes decals for car #56 Joan Richmond (24th) the first and only Aussie lady to race at La Sarth. News from Formula Models is the Dallara Ganassi Indy cars will be next up including the 2008 winner of Scott Dixon. New Ebbro Lotus 62 Thruxton 1968 this will sit nicely along side the Brian Muir Spark 1969 version only problem Ebbro aren’t making #176 the Brian Muir car only #177 so if anyone wants #176 we will convert it. Price $75
