May 2011

With the rising Aussie dollar and yet another Aus Post price increase we have decided to suspend all future models and kits that we produce. Sales in Australia have never been sufficient to cover cost of production and we rely on overseas sales to make up the numbers. Our kits/built models are no longer viable in the UK USA or mainland Europe as the Aus$ is at it highest level ever against these currencies. We will continue to make anything that is currently available from our catalogue but planned new models such as the Bartlett Camaro, Cooper Mk9, Mercedes 220SE etc. will have to wait until such a time as the Aussie dollar comes down to a much more acceptable level against other major currencies. The upside to this is that all imported models and kits are much cheaper at the moment so make the most of it.

Reminder to anyone that wants to exhibit at the Model Expo 11th 12th 13th June we have a table booked and that gives us 4 free tickets for exhibitors. You can show your models for just one, two or all three you don't have to stay as there will be someone on the table each day. If you are coming let me know as there is a max of four tickets per day.
